Blake Jones

Minister

Blake Jones is the pulpit minister for the Rainbow church of Christ in Gadsden, Alabama. Blake has served this congregation since 1999. He served as the full time youth minister the first four years and has been preaching since. He is a graduate of Heritage Christian University in Florence, Al and has also obtained his Master’s Degree in Ministerial Counseling from HCU. He has recently began working on his Master’s of Divinity.

In addition to his local ministerial responsibilities, Blake has participated in and led foreign mission trips to Jamaica and Zimbabwe. He has also led many stateside campaigns in Georgia and Alabama. He has taught Bible classes in the local and federal prison systems. Blake co-directed Teen Week at Backwoods Christian Camp for ten years, served on the Board of Directors for EXPOSURE youth camp, and served as a member of the Board of Directors for Rainbow of Hope (a transition home for women in Gadsden).      

Blake has been happily married to Rebekah since 2001 and God blessed them with their son, David in 2011. Rebekah is a graduate of Jacksonville State University and the University of Alabama. She teaches 9th grade English at Gadsden City High School.
